Devou Park

Located in the hills of Covington, Kentucky; overlooking the Cincinnati skyline, Devou Park is a place where many different families and friends gather to enjoy the many outdoor activities the park provides. Recreational opportunities include an 18-hole golf course, multiple playgrounds and picnic shelters, a collection of mature trees of various species, paved, nature, and over eight miles of mountain bike trails, an amphitheater, a fishing lake and so much more. The park is also home to the NKY children's Home, Drees Pavillion and the Behringer Crawford Museum. The Devou Park amphitheater is home to the Kentucky symphony Orchestra's summer Concert Series.

Profile Description

In 1910, William P. and Charles P. Devou donated to the city 500 acres of land for the establishment of the park, on the condition it be named in memory of their parents.  It is located in the northwestern portion of the city of Covington, Kentucky. situated just outside the urban core.   For many people, the nature trails, picnic facilities, fishing ponds, tennis courts, and the grand golf course have become popular destinations which is situated just outside the city’s urban core.  During warmer seasons Devou Park host symphonies in its beautiful concert hall. The park also consist of a museum, where you can learn about Northern Kentucky history. Additionally, many magnificent houses surround the park, giving it more character. A great place to host a wedding or family reunion, all year round. At Devou Park nature can be appreciated, and tranquility can be enjoyed. A safe, and family oriented park, that will fulfill all your needs, and have you enjoying yourself time and time again.
