A collection of early Appalachian log buildings located in Renfro Valley, Kentucky. The BitterSweet Cabin Museum features actual cabins and artifacts dating back from the 1700's to the 1940's. Touring the open air village will introduce you to the four styles of log cabins found on the Kentucky Frontier. The framed structure of plank, timber, and nails became the symbol of self-reliance, strength and integrity in the new world.
